The Nehemiah Leadership Initiative (NLI) equips future Urban leaders to step into their kingdom calling with 3-month internships and 8-month fellowships.

3-Month NLI Internships

The 3-Month NLI Summer Internship Program is an immersive ministry experience that equips young adults to serve and grow through hands-on work in urban Denver. Interns gain practical ministry experience, leadership development, spiritual formation, and meaningful relationships while serving alongside Open Door staff and residents. The program is designed to help participants deepen their faith, explore their calling, and develop the skills needed for a lifetime of Christ-centered service.

8-Month NLI Fellowships

Our 8-Month NLI Gap Year Fellowship Program is designed to help individuals grow in their faith, leadership, and sense of calling while serving alongside Open Door Ministries in Denver. Fellows receive hands-on ministry experience, intentional discipleship, leadership development, biblical justice education, and community living opportunities as they explore how God may be leading them to make an impact in their communities and beyond.
