Run for the Door is just around the corner—Saturday, May 22nd.  I’ve been running three times a week getting ready, so I’m excited.  I’d love to hear how your training is going so send me an e-mail.

We have 96 runners/walkers signed up so far and have already raised over $16,000 (goal is $40,000).  Now is the time to register as an individual or team at www.runforthedoor.org. The 125th registrant will win a $20 gift card to the Irish Snug restaurant right next door to ODM...so get registered today as we hope to go over this mark very soon!  (We will take registrations the day of the event but T-shirts will be on a first come first serve basis at that point.)

Check-in opens at 7:00 a.m. and the run and walk begin at 8:30 a.m.  Kids can get their faces painted and a picture taken with the Chick-fil-A cow.  Adults can enjoy a massage and will be entered to win prizes from Boulder Running Company, Sports Authority and Elements Massage.  We will all enjoy the music of the Confluence Ministries band and a beautiful day in Denver!  We also have weekly fundraising contests online: the winner this week will take home a dinner for two at Texas Roadhouse.  Questions?  Email us at runforthedoor@gmail.com or call Lauren Perkins at 303.830.2201 x4.  For further event details visit www.runforthedoor.org.
