On Saturday morning, May 22nd at Cheesman Park people throughout the Denver community will join together to Run for the Door. This event will include a professionally timed 5K run and walk along with post race festivities.  

Your involvement in Run for the Door through spreading the word, fundraising, and participating in the run and walk is vital for making this event a success.  The way it works is for each participant to set a fundraising goal and get others to sponsor them toward that goal.  All the registration and fundraising is done online to make it as easy as possible for goals to be met.  Join us today by registering online at www.runforthedoor.org.  Registering will enable you to create a personalized event page and invite participation from your family and friends!  Teams of people can also be created within businesses, churches, families, etc. 

Within this, there is an exciting partnership opportunity for local churches and schools!  This opportunity allows for a church or school to form a team through online registration, and work towards raising funds for both Open Door Ministries and their organization.  50% of the funds that are raised through that team will directly support Open Door Ministries, and the remaining 50% will go to supporting the partner.  An application must be submitted and approved by Open Door Ministries.  For details on this partnership opportunity, visit the Church & School Partnership link at www.runforthedoor.org.
