Open Door Ministries' Lighthouse Program is a two-year discipleship program for single men. At this point the Lighthouse Program does not include housing. The Lighthouse Program provides a safe, caring, and sober environment for those struggling with addictions, emotional hurt, and homelessness. Our main focus is to encourage spiritual, emotional, and educational/vocational growth for our program participants. The program includes goal-setting, mentoring/accountability, case management, counseling, recovery and support groups, community activities (including church participation).

We teach life principles and skills to help the men become responsible, contributing members of society. Program Participants are expected to have a minimum of 30-60 days of sobriety and remain clean and sober from drugs and alcohol. They also are required to enroll in school and/or find gainful employment in the community. Any individual who is close to a level two program would be a good fit for the house.
