Open Door Ministries is a community development organization partnering with people like you to meet needs of adults and children living in poverty in Urban Denver. The purpose is to move people toward self-sufficiency through a variety of services and unique programs. Specifically, we provide transitional homes for young mothers and their children, as well as for single women who do not have children with them. We also operate a preschool and before-and-after school program, primarily for children from families in poverty. Staff and volunteers reach out to homeless teens through our ArtZtudio and to disabled people through our TRYAD program and Cornerstone Home. In addition, families and small groups offer free weekly meals for homeless people and others in our community.
