In Hebrew, “chayah”
is a verb that means, “to live” or “to be
restored to life”. That, in essence, is the purpose
of Chayah House. We strive to be a home of peace, encouragement,
and sobriety filled with the love of Christ that leads to
physical, emotional, financial, social, and spiritual healing
and transformation.
Chayah House is for six single women who have experienced
or are currently experiencing:
-
Homelessness
-
Drug or alcohol addictions
-
Domestic violence situations
-
Financial crisis
-
Trauma from abuse
-
OR need and desire a faith-based housing program

-
Compliance with program expectations and guidelines
-
Productive Hours completed and turned in each week- pertaining
to goals set with mentor
-
Cooking and clean-up for dinner once a week (each resident
has a cook night to prepare dinner for the whole house)
-
Curfew hours that vary based upon your level in the program
-
Random UA’s and breathalyzers and room searches-
Chayah House is a DRUG-FREE and SOBER living environment!
