“Chayah”
is a Hebrew word meaning “to
live or restore.” The purpose and focus
of our
home is to provide a safe an stable environment in which women
may establish and work
toward accomplishing career, educational, personal, relational
and spiritual goals.
Chayah House staff, with the help of God, seek to help women
from all walks of life rebuild
their broken hearts and lives based upon God’s love
for them and a new life in Christ.

Some of the tools used to promote this growth include:
· Committed live-in staff 24 hours a day – seven
days a week
· One-on-one weekly mentoring meetings with staff for
discipleship/accountability
· Weekly Bible study, prayer and worship meetings
· Christian 12-step recovery meetings four mornings
each week
· Required church attendance and opportunities for
church involvement
· A progressive 6-level goal-oriented program including
individualized goal plans and day planning
· Links to community resources for education, job training,
medical/mental health, etc.
